Pulmonary amyloidosis is a rare disease, characterized by extracellular deposition of fibrillary protein in the lungs. Primary pulmonary amyloidosis is rare disease, that present focal or systemic characteristics. The secondary system form is generally related to neoplastic, infectious, or chronic inflammatory processes, chronic kidney disease, syphilis, leprosy, inflammatory bowel disease, osteomyelitis, parasitic infections, rheumatoid arthritis.
